It’s 7 a.m. and the first official high school recruit is in.
The newest Auburn player is one of the highest profile signees expected today – tight end Philip Lutzenkirchen.
He’s considered a four-star commitment from Marietta, Ga. who chose Auburn over offers from several other big-time schools including Florida and Alabama.
The Lassiter High School product is listed by Rivals.com as the third-rated tight end. He committed to Auburn on May 16.
