Washington in at Auburn

Junior-college transfer Demond Washington made his switch from Ole Miss to Auburn official Wednesday shortly after 9 a.m.
Washington, who will play cornerback at Auburn, is listed as a five-star recruit by Scout, but a three-star recruit by Rivals. He and Eltoro Freeman played together and roomed together at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College.
Washington is from Tallassee, but couldn’t qualify coming out of high school. He has two years remaining of eligibility.
Washington originally committed to Ole Miss, but ultimately decided to play closer to home.
