Middle Tennessee State's Rivals site, GoMiddle.com, is reporting that former Auburn offensive coordinator Tony Franklin will take over the offense in Murfreesboro.
Franklin was fired five games into the regular season at Auburn after the Tigers got off to a terrible start offensively.
He had great success at Troy, though, in the Sun Belt Conference. Franklin led one of the nation's most dynamic attacks with the Trojans.
Now Franklin apparently has returned to the Sun Belt, though no official announcement has been made.
