Rough night

Auburn's National Signing Day didn't get off to a great start.
First, the Tigers accepted a commitment from little known defensive tackle Josh Jackson, out of Gainesville, Ga. Jackson is a two-star recruit according to Rivals.
When Auburn defensive line coach Tracy Rocker coached at Ole Miss, he recruited Jackson. Rocker accounted for two of Jackson's three offers -- the other coming from North Carolina State.
Jackson's commitment likely means the Tigers missed on signing four-star defensive tackle DeQuinta Jones, who will likely sign with either Arkansas or Michigan.

The Tigers also seem likely to miss on Aubrey Phillips, a four-star offensive lineman who could have provided immediate help to a position desperately seeking it.
Phillips will apparently sign with Florida State instead of either Auburn or Tennessee.
That means the Tigers could sign as few as two offensive linemen in a year the position should have been at a premium in recruiting.
