Two new letters of intent just rolled in and both of them are completely Gene Chizik recruits.
Athlete Izauea Lanier, the first commit under Chizik, faxed in his paperwork as did defensive tackle Josh Jackson, who committed Tuesday night.
Lanier will play safety for Auburn. He had 68 tackles and seven interceptions last year as a senior at Gordo High School. He also returned both a punt and a kickoff for touchdowns.
Jackson didn’t receive an offer from Auburn until Tuesday night. He had previously been recruited by Auburn defensive line coach Tracy Rocker when Rockers was at Ole Miss.
